The students in Mrs. Harris’ grade 1/2 class at St. Charles Elementary are learning all about friendship rules and how to stop bullying! They have read the books Friendship and Our Friendship Rules and have made keys about how to be a good friend and not a bully.
The students have been learning about bullying and how to prevent bullying in preparation for Bullying Awareness and Prevention Week – November 18 – 24, 2012.
Students from St. Charles Elementary look on as JK students Sophie and Gavin Patterson, along with their grandfather, George Patterson bring up a cross remembering those who served in the Korean War. It was a privilege to have members from the Royal Canadian Legion – Branch 553 Chelmsford join the school, including Mr.Rogerson, a parent legionnaire, in our Remembrance Day Celebration. We remember, we will never forget.
The Hallowe’en spirit was alive at St. Charles in Chelmsford! Students started the morning off with a costume parade and student council members in grades 3-8 voted for the most creative costume. More fun filled activities took place throughout the day.
